As a member at Rossland Ridge, you are required to volunteer your time to support the Coop community at least 4 hours per month. Particapation on these committee’s allows Rossland Ridge to continue to provide a strong sense of community.  We always have lots of tasks that can be worked on and welcome members to join a committee; below is a list of committees that members can become part of:

By Law Committee

• reviewing bylaws and bringing them up to date
• ensure every unit has an update to date bylaw binder

Community Care Committee

• Community Care- help to members that have been hospitalized, had a baby or need assistance.  Send cards for sympathy, get well etc.

Inspection Committee

• Always needs inspectors

Landscape Committee

• Maintains the common areas of the co-op; mowing, trimming, weeding
• plans spring and fall clean up

Maintenance Committee

• Assists the co-op maintenance employee with work orders, inspections etc

Member Involvement Committee

• Someone to take attendance at all General Members Meetings and deliver notices
• Community Care- someone to help revamp this committee to send fruit baskets etc to members that have been hospitalized, had a baby.  Send cards for sympathy, get well etc.

Member Selection Committee

• review applications
• help interview potential new members

Newsletter Committee

Parking Committee

Pet Committee

Social Committee

• help get activities planned and running; (kids movie night,  holiday celebrations, Halloween and Christmas decorating contests)
